"Beautiful, low-key property in excellent location. Rooms need updating, but that is apparently scheduled to occur this year. Will return!"

"The location was beautiful and located near many beaches, stores, and restaurants; however, NO AC made it unbearable for at least 2 nights. Ceiling fans don’t help if circulating hot air. Room service was poorly lacking for 7 night stay. Only one free clean shower towel change….really. Overall, bring your own AC and shower towels."

"We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4...

"READ BEFORE BOOKING: there is no AC and no ceiling fans. None. They have 3 portable fans that are less than great- you will be hot. We had to take cold showers before bed to sleep comfortably and we are both young. I can’t imagine booking this with someone who is elderly or very young children. We would sit in the car with the AC on at the end of the day because we didn’t want to sit in the muggy room- and we’re from Vegas. You can open the front and back sliding doors and if there is a breeze...
