"There seemed to be a large group of sport kids and their families who also stayed at the hotel the same weekend. The pool was obviously dirty from all the kids and I’m sure its hard to maintain in such short hours inbetween use. Other than that, everything else was nice. Loved the convenience of the mall next door and very close to everything downtown. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great experience overall."

"The Lafayette is undeniably a cool hotel. The history, design and overall atmosphere are fantastic, and there’s so much happening on the property that it really does feel like a destination. At $1,000 a night, having a genuinely clean room shouldn’t be a big ask.
