"The property was a little dated but kept up well. They don’t provide housekeeping unless you are there a longer period of time so that wasn’t the best. By the end of our 4 days we could have used some housekeeping. The little outside bar they have is nice and offer happy hour deals 2 times a day. Overall a nice stay"

"We had a great experience during our stay. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We especially loved the heated pool, it was a game changer on some of the windiest days.
We visited during a busy period when the hotel had a lot of guests, so the pool felt crowded during peak hours. This also affected the breakfast experience, which felt less relaxed than we had hoped. "Our family of 4 loved our time spent at the Royal Lahaina bungalows. We enjoyed the nightly LIVE music and the easy access to the pool and beach. Walking distance to the black rock was fast and a pleasant walk with our adventurous teens who enjoyed cliff jumping while I floated in the ocean. Highly recommend for families, the beach access directly from our hotel was unmatched. Calm waters, clear and feels like your own private beach."

"This is a 4.5-star property. (Not as high end as Four Seasons, Fairmont, Ritz & the like but close.) First, the staff. Everyone - front desk, concierge, banker, housekeeping, pool, etc., are friendly, attentive, helpful and professional. They learn your name and no one ever says “no” or “you need to go talk to xyz,” but rather finds a way to help. I particularly enjoyed the QR code system for letting valet know when you need your car. Very easy and effective.

"We LOVED everything about the property. The staff was lovely and helpful. The lobby and grounds are gorgeous and clean. The ocean view from our room was beautiful and the pool was refreshing and well maintained. We loved that the beach was steps away and even though it’s a large resort it was easy to get where you needed to go. The Luau was so fun with delicious food and convenient! We have only positive remarks and would stay again!"
