"Incroyable hôtel avec des chambres dingues!!!! Notre douche et les WC étaient dans des bibliothèques en pierre et le lavabo fait un grand livre ouvert. L'accueil est au top. Le rooftop est magnifique. Il y a du thé du café et des pâtisseries à discrétion. On a même le droit d’apporter son dîner et sa bouteille (de vin portugais bien sûr ) sur le rooftop !! Emplacement parfait avec vue dégagée et prix de dingue!! Je recommande à fond!! BRAVO"

"Nice spacious rooms. Had lots of facilities like swimming pool etc, but were not explained at the time of check-in. Clean and breakfast was good with good selection. Missing - tea/coffee percolator in the rooms. The earliest you could have a beverage was when the restaurant opened - 10 am. Restaurant for other meals - tried dinner once and decided to avoid and rather go to a couple of smallish restaurants in the vicinity. Check out - had a poor experience. Came to the front desk (5:30 am) and...

Bright, beautifully decorated, clean, perfect size for a short stay, fridge/freezer a huge bonus, good size bathroom, table and chairs good for eating and playing cards, nice balcony view to the outside, easy to find and excellent owner - thank you Ricardo for a perfect stay."

"The hotel was just stunning! Like stepping into a Fitzgerald novel. The staff was so helpful, kind and friendly. Made great recommendations and helped booked reservations. I had an emergency and had to leave early but will definitely go back. Loved the old hotel and the lovely staff!"
