"Room was clean but the hair conditioner dispenser was empty. I didn’t bring my own expecting a supply at the hotel so it did create an issue for me. Staff was extremely nice. Minor detail but inconvenient that the light at the coffee bar didn’t work. "

"I love the self check-in option and the place is always spotless and comfortable. The Boston location is within walking distance of south station and there are lots of dining options around, plus a Trader Joe’s just around the corner. "

"We had a great time there, and you can enjoy staying in Boston differently! You can get a river-view room and enjoy it! I loved the glassy elevator; it reminded me of my childhood! The staff was great, and the room was so clean and comfortable. "

"The rooms were very different but hip and cool. Pros: right next to TD Garden (we went to Bruins game) and a short walk to the North End which is our favorite for dinner; easy check in/check out process, although the elevators were confusing; the common area looked like a nice place to hang out outside of the room but we did not use it. Cons: The shower had horrible pressure and only got warm, never hot; the lights were tricky to work, it was an all or nothing deal; there were not face cloths in the room; the king bed was up against the wall on 3 sides, it would be nice if the person on the inside didn't have to crawl over the other person to get out of bed; and the pillows were not comfy. Overall, the location was good and if we were only staying 1 night again, would definitely book a room, but for longer than that, I would probably find another hotel."

"I stayed with my wife and two teenage kids in an executive suite. The location is good. It's a similar distance to Copley and Faneuil Hall. There are many good restaurants and shopping stores close by. Check in was 4pm, arrived at about 3:30 and the room was not ready. Went back up to the front just after 4pm and was told the room still wasn't ready. The front desk confirmed that check in was 4pm but the people before us are elite members and had late checkout at 2pm and it was being cleaned. We were annoyed and confused by this. The front desk said that they would extend our checkout time to accommodate. This didn't please us because we didn't plan to stay past checkout time anyway. The front desk just looked at us like "it is what it is". We were not offered anything while we waited. At 4:48pm we finally got a text that the room was ready. The room was not as nice as I remembered from when my wife and I used to stay a decade ago. The executive suite used to feel lavish. I was no longer impressed. It felt clean but dated. The kids swam and enjoyed it. My wife and went to the hotel bar later, which wasn't cheap but had a decent drink menu and was hopping at 12pm. The room was quiet aside from my son waking up to the neighbors being very loud in the morning. Checkout was fine. All in all I wouldn't rush back but might return for the right price."

"The hotel has been recently renovated, so it's beautiful. It was an easy 10-minute walk from Back Bay Station. Nice bar, safe neighborhood. Highly recommend"
