"Everything was top-tier. We loved the room and how spacious it was. Our biggest thing was staying somewhere with a pool - preferably indoor - for our girls. Even though it was outdoors, the pool was located in the right spot for the sun to shine on it and warm the water to not be freezing cold but just right to jump right in. The breakfast was good. The only downside for us was the mattresses were very firm and the pillows were extremely soft. My husband stacked three pillows together but still...

"It had been several years since I visited a Hampton Inn. This Fultondale, AL Hampton Inn was a refreshing new design in total. The Property and Staff exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose this Inn again. The Breakfast Offerings were extensive and very tasty. The Young Man Staffer was excellent and was very present and helpful. The Check-In Staff was very responsive and helpful also."

"STAY AWAY !!!! They are independently owned and operated. The hotel was not well maintained. The staff was terrible, unhelpful and no customer service skills. 1. They charged my card for a $100 "deposit" for 2 rooms. I had to dispute the charge to get it off. 2. There was no coffee in the lobby and the clerk said the Lobby restroom was "clogged". To use the restroom I would have to complete check-in and use the one in the room. 3 There was a sign post "no breakfast sorry for the inconvenience"....

"This was a short stay for us. Check in was easy with friendly personnel. Good location, easy off the highway Bed was a bit hard and lumpy."

Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn’t working, was blocked off, and had no water, with dead cockroaches at the bottom. The pool was so cold it couldn’t be used either. "The parking situation is a disaster. That's where my criticism lies. First off, I didn't know at first I'd have to pay for parking or I never would have elected to stay there. Then, they told me that their parking lot was full. (So...I have a room reservation but you don't have a parking space for me?) Then I was told, "You need to reserve a parking space in advance." WHAT??? I had never been told this before. Then, I was told that I could park at a lot across the street from the hotel...
