Villa L'Orange Bali

"Wonderfully quiet. There are only 4 units on the property. One was vacant. Another had 1 lady that we only saw once, another housed the kitchen staff, and then ours. We basically had the whole place to ourselves. It was marvelous. The black sand beach from the volcano is a short walk around the corner and it's clean and soft on your feet. There's a convince store just up the road that is also a short walk. Breakfast was included every day and was delicious. We also ate lunch and dinner there a few times and it was all delicious and cheap. There are 2 large dogs and a cat on the property that we loved having around, but if you don't like animals they would be a nuisance. Although the staff would probably keep them from bothering you if you wanted. If I ever go back I will probably stay at that same place again. It was a little out of the way and far from other activities but the rides are pretty cheap."

"Great for a one night stay to experience the animals right outside your room - alongside an unrushed explore of the park and dinner in the restaurant beside the lions. Bed was a bit hard for our preference, other than that a comfortable and pleasant stay."

"A Peaceful Jungle Escape in Ubud 🌿✨ This is a late review from my stay in February 2026, but I still think about how peaceful my time at Aksmi Suits & Villa in Ubud was. I was traveling solo, and from the moment I arrived, I felt so relaxed, safe, and at peace. The villa is exactly the kind of place I was looking for surrounded by nature with that beautiful jungle vibe. It’s serene, quiet, and the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and disconnect from the outside world. The staff truly go above and beyond. They are some of the hardest working and kindest people I’ve met, and they were always willing to accommodate whatever I needed. Whether it was helping arrange a taxi, recommending or organizing a tour guide, or simply making sure I was comfortable, they were always there to help. It was my first time in Ubud, and as a solo traveler, feeling safe was very important to me. I felt completely comfortable during my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The villa is a little outside of the main town, but honestly, I didn’t mind at all. I actually loved being away from the busyness. And when I needed something, delivery services were easy to use. If you’re looking for a peaceful place where you can truly relax, reconnect with yourself, and forget about everything for a little while, I highly recommend Aksmi Suits & Villa. 🌿🤍 I would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It’s a smaller style boutique hotel. It’s outside of Ubud so not walking distance into the centre but they do provide a shuttle and it’s easy enough to hire a driver. We had the Emana Pool villa which was an absolutely stunning room overlooking a rice field. It was spotless, so comfortable and just beautiful. The staff at this hotel are so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for us. The on site spa is amazing and we used it twice. There is also an on site restaurant which is really good too. Overall we had an amazing experience at this hotel and wished we could have stayed for longer."

"We had a fantastic 2 nights stay. The property is extremely well maintained, staff helpful and friendly. Special xall out to Elisia and Mary. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. We had the glamping cabin and it is deceptively spacious and comfortable. The only negatives we have are that the shower splashes and the bathroom gets wet everywhere, and the pillows are not very comfortable. The location is amazing, rice fields, a slow river and peace! Not to forget the 2 resident guinea fowls who delight kiids and adults. Overall, I would recommend Natya River Sidemen any day."

"From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcome. We booked tanah gajah for our honeymoon and wish we had stayed for longer than 4 nights! The hotel has so much to offer - a tethered hot air balloon (worth every penny), professional photographer, rice field paddy tour and kedac dance nights. The staff were all brilliant and we slept amazingly well. We would definitely recommend the resort to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Ubud."
