"It was almost by mistake I came to book this hotel and I feel very lucky to have done so because the old pictures don't do justice to it. The hotel is very charming and well located to explore from (in particular as the name suggesrs close to rhe Acropolis) and close enough to the metro station and to places to dine in. Other reviews before had mentioned the wonderful roof top terrace view and certainly this is justified. There was something magical sitting there with a cocktail (reasonably priced) watching the Acropolis as the sun set and with it lit up at night. We were fortunate also to have a room with a balcony with a view of it and that was nice to sit there with coffee (nice there is a kettle in the rooml) and admire the view. Equally wonderful to have breakfast on the roof top (whether sat in the covered part or in the open there's a view). The breakfast itself was a nice spread and I think enough to satisfy most tastes. I like the fact there were also Greek options to try. Aside from the views and relaxed ambience the other stars are the staff. They really seem to care about their work. They are very helpful, gave nice tips (for example local places to eat) and made for a great stay. I should mention also some of the nice extras that make a difference like the refreshing pomegranate juice and cookies in reception and even the restroom had some extra items. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the hospitality. I would definitely recommend and stay here again."

"Lovely hotel in the middle of Plaka, which is the place to be in Athens. Everyone was very nice and professional; all areas were clean and well-lit. The view from the rooftop restaurant is absolutely STUNNING! The Acropolis is viewable from all parts of the restaurant. Can you imagine having breakfast and seeing the Acropolis right out the window? Well, you can at this hotel. We loved it."
