"This was a wonderful room with a lot of very nice personal touches in the heart of Amsterdam. Located mere steps from the beautiful canals, with lots of restaurants all walking distance. Walking distance as well to Centraal Station. To the left, you have the less touristy local part of town. "It was excellent we just had issues with our first room as it had stairs and would be difficult for my 81y/o mother. They were able to arrange a more convenient room. Staff very friendly and efficient. It’s a very cozy and interesting hotel. Breakfast is excellent and location is perfect. "

"Honestly, the quality of the rooms is on a whole other level. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant, well simply amazing. It’s only con (which may be a pro to some people) is that you are literally on Dam Square. So it’s busy, very busy. Other than that, no notes! "

"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."

"Great location and beautiful property! They keep the front doors locked, so I felt very safe. FYI, you can hear the bells ringing from the nearby church which is nice, but also takes some getting used to during the night. I would definitely stay here again!"
