"The bathroom had a gas smell in the night and the toilet in room 215 was extremely difficult to flush . Tv needs a manual and couldn’t get standard channel on but room and view was wonderful. Staff short in breakfast area . Had to wait to get sat down . N still havnt got out toast . Food was lovely when we got it though . "

"The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 "

"Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Shout out to the lady who made me a coffee - without asking, when I was working on my laptop in the bar area - very thoughtful - it was appreciated. The house and setting are beautiful, could do with a little updating in places."
