"The driveway was rough. Poor condition. No sign with the apartment address visible. No AC which we knew going in. But mid- morning, no brees to keep the room cool. The apartment was locked in behind housing not letting ocean winds to flow in.So you set and sweated or sit infront of a fan to cool down. "My family and I had a very nice stay at the Outrigger in Kona. The hotel was close to everything yet far enough away from downtown Kona that it felt peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed the hotel room, the gym, and the beautiful area surrounding the hotel. We had one problem with our air conditioner that was quickly resolved by the hotel staff."

"The staff was great, the security and the morning building maintenance guy are awesome. Took care of our car and maintenance guy keeped the place up looking great.
I would definitely come back to this building if I return to the Kona side.
What i didn't like were the bugs that are all over the place. Specially at night.

Great location, very nice beach that they clean every morning, beautiful pool, beach towels you can exchange for clean ones as needed, and much more.
