"Close to the beach and downtown. Will stay here again. Only minor thing was no access to ice nor a freezer but it is a B&B. Breakfast was convenient and good. Everyone we interacted with were great. Convenience store is near property. We heard another couples concern that their room was dark and chilly in the main house. We chose the Biltmore room in the guest house and it was great."

As a hotel option, it's not ideal in terms of efficiency and modernity, so don't go there looking for that. This is for someone who appreciates an old mansion, a gothic rooftop, an old school fancy bar. "Our stay was relaxing, surrounded by beautiful gardens right in town but feeling like we were surrounded by nature. We could walk out the door and into shops and restaurants. The room was tastefully decorated and furnished with homemade muffins, fruit, cereal, juice/milk and coffee. Hosts on site but never intrusive. Highly recommend."

"Amazing location. Ample parking. Molly is an engaging host. The property was built in the 1860s I believe so with that comes a high level of charm as well as some slight inconveniences such as a small shower and vanity. There is AC and there also was an additional AC unit in our room but it didn’t cool much. All in all a very pleasant stay though. "

"I came back to stay at the Wickwood Inn twenty years after I had last stayed here. It was lovely then, but I feared it might have gotten dated by now. No need to worry! They did a complete renovation of the inn. Still the beautiful antique-filled luxuriously plush rooms, but updated to a more muted and understated color palette befitting the current design aesthetic. The exquisite marble-clad bathroom was a particular delightThere is still no other place in town that holds a candle to this. "
