"The Carriage House Hotel and Convention Centre is a very nice hotel located in south central Calgary, making it very convenient to downtown, Chinook Centre, and other local sights. The hotel was well maintained, clean and has nicely appointed rooms, and comfortable bed and pillows. Staff were great and very accommodating when we needed extra supplies, or suggestions on where to eat or visit. The hotel offers free daily breakfast and free parking, which really helps out with controlling cost while travelling. There are a couple of restaurants and a pub on the property, and there are many local restaurants near by. We were pleased with our stay, and highly recommend this property if you need to be in the Calgary SW or SE areas. "

"Room was great and clean. The pool was another story. The water was so dirty that you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool. The hot tub was almost completely empty, like a foot of water in it. I talked to one staff member who was not helpful so I had to go tell front desk about the issue. Couldn’t really use either which my kids were sad about"

"This was the 4th time that my husband and I stayed at the Bow River Inn. This alone should show that we very much impressed with the accomodations. Our room was clean and well appointed making our stays extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The pricing is more than comparable and we have often found the Bow River Inn to have better than the competitors pricing. We would definitely reccommend the Bow River Inn."

"Friendly staff. The hotel is doing renovations, so that was sore eyes. The hotel room was renovated, but still had some older fixtures that I believe should have been updated as well. You don't get breakfast when you book through Expedia, but the Dennis restaurant is conveniently connected to the hotel. Overall, a good experience."
