"This is most suitable for coach parties since it is far from city centre and very limited local restaurants/bars especially in the evening. Breakfast choice is good but getting a coffee can take absolutely ages as machines frequently break down. It is good value for money but one must weigh cons and pros. Double glazing in room does not keep out noise from the street. Staff were corporate and one gave inaccurate facts such as transport options during strikes. On balance we would not choose to...

"Definitely a five star hotel. They have everything you would need for a perfect day. The staff was super helpful. There was a winery right next-door. There were nice restaurants everywhere. There were gondolas that were cool. This hotel is on the top of the hill so get your walking shoes on and let’s go. Porto is a good size town with lots to do. Wine tasting is amazing. "I was disappointed with this hotel as it was supposed to be 5 star. The staff were just ok didn’t really go out of their way with help or advice. The barman was quite unhelpful and rude. Also there was building work going on next door so we couldn’t even sit on the balcony or have the doors open because of this. The hotel did not fore warn us of this when we booked otherwise I would have reconsidered our stay!"
