"I like I was able to check in 2 hours early. I did not like I had to pay a $191 deposit for my stay. I did not like I had a broken toilet seat when I entered my hotel room, after paying $191 for a deposit. I had to go to the front desk twice to finally get someone to fix it, so my deposit wouldn’t be taken. I think the male hotel clerk knew this before charging me a deposit, that wasn’t expected. After that the day of me checking out, I inquired about my deposit being returned and they told me...

"We sleep at the hotel when we visit NYC. This hotel was clean, had what we needed and was within walking distance to Newark Penn Station to catch the PATH train each day. We will definitely be staying here again in June."

"The female desk clerk was rude, I was told that the breakfast staff was making fun of an over weight guest. They were pointing fingers. Shaking there head on how big she was. Coming from the back to show other staff members. So rude. I would not recommend a dog to stay at this location, I have nothing good to say about this location but it had a bed for me to sleep. Never again. And I plan on returning next year NEVER AGAIN!"

"Petty low key nice little ( big ) hotel. I like it, small environment changes like free parking since the place is always busy, they got the money to let parking slide. Have free breakfast. Bistro’s breakfast is not worth paying. Hampton Inn makes better breakfast and it’s free. Over good place"

"BEWARE!!! This was terrible. It’s not a hotel by any means. Located in a bad neighborhood, there is no one there to greet you. We stood on a rotting porch for 15 minutes after ringing the ring doorbell only to be told someone would be there in 2 minutes. The smoke alarm dead battery screech coming from inside told me enough. I was asked to text a copy of my ID to some random number with no clue who would have access to my private information. The booking was “non-refundable”. After 20 plus...

"Absolutely horrible, They lied about how we would be accomodated, the information they provide is completely confising, what they ask of the guests in terms of how to enter and what codes and rules, is just as confusing, they made us wait an hour after our arranged arrival, completely disgusting, they should not be allowed to provide any type of service "

"I didn’t even stay there. First of all they didn’t even send any instructions in advance. Then they sent me to a different location. The room was in a three bedroom place which I wasn’t aware it’s a shared space. There was no heat (it was 40 degrees in NJ) no toiletries including toilet paper or towels or shampoo. I just left immediately and put a stop payment on my credit card charge. I’ve never had this experience before. "

"This propery says entire apartment. It is a room with a toilet (at best). Others are shared. I text the owner that there was no heat when I checked in, he text me 30 minutes before check out. I went to The Marriott and had a comfortable stay. The room is in need of repair. Blinds are see through, etc. Forget about this."
