"Hotel itself is beautiful. Pool and amenities as advertised. Staff are well trained, professional, and very friendly. The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. "This hotel was an excellent location for a short visit to Lyon. Short walk to restaurants and shops, and to the funicular to Basilique Notre Dame. Also, right on the Saone River. The hotel room was comfortable, although carpet was stained and looking tired. Carpet in hallways were also stained and tired. Furniture also had stains and was in need of deep clean or replacement. Breakfast was good and complimentary water for room was appreciated. Limited parking was available and must be reserved...

We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was a very unattractive stain on the floor. There were inconsistencies with the staff helpfulness. "Great location for exploring beautiful Lyon. I did find our initial arrival into the hotel a bit awkward. The hotel itself is located inside an apartment building so you have to communicate through a buzzer system, then heavy doors and lastly into a very small elevator or two flights of stairs. "We had a lovely stay at Charité! The hotel is basic but comfortable. Good mattress, powerful shower, effective air con and quiet rooms. Reception were super friendly (we spoke with 4 different individuals across our stay, all great) and the coffee was appreciated! The hotel was an excellent location for us and we walked most places. Would stay again!"
