"All hotels should take a cue from this person. We had a wonderful time, I was almost sad to leave. The hotel owner was incredibly kind in recommending everything (places to see, parking, things to avoid). Without his advice, it wouldn't have been the same. The room was meticulously designed and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, very beautiful and convenient, in ancient Chania. I highly recommend it. "This hotel was really special (the online pictures do not capture how great the property is). We had the larger room for our family of 4 and it was really great. The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (an excessive amount of food and lattes were offered!!). They even offer to bring the breakfast to your room if you prefer. They directed me to a free public lot for parking which was about a 7 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Our experience at Thallos was amazing. Upon arriving Valia offered us cold drinks and a quick presentation of the city with a bunch of helpful suggestions on what to do. She worked really hard and made sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible (f.e. borrowing sun umbrellas for the beach and bringing fresh muffins into our room). The room was as described and was cleaned everyday. Overall would really recommend this place!"

"We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

"Azade was a great hotel. I would definitely stay again if I were staying in the old town. Very convenient to walk everywhere. The room was spacious, great breakfast and staff went over the top with service. The ONLY thing frustrating was the slow elevator but that's understandable since it's in a historic building and Greece has rules. So if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor it's faster to take the stairs.
