Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. "A very unique hotel! Accommodations were unlike any other that we have experienced. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast served at the lovely bar was very good. The decor and furnishings are appropriate to the club’s history. We would recommend The Detroit Club to anyone who appreciates an unusual night’s sleep. "

"The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal.
