"Second time staying at el Cortez and I like it for the most part! Casino staff and restaurant is great we always stay at the tower rooms, only complaint was that our room wasn’t very clean and the two times that we have stayed here one elevator did not work, and other takes a very long time to come down, only think u might want to consider if u are a light sleeper do not stay here u can hear the music very loudly from Fremont until 4 am"

"The room I was in and my friend's room were decent. The downstairs area was a nice setting and my overall stay there was good. The food I ordered from the bar was very good and a good price. They can work on this sometimes stale smell that lingers in the hallway and in some of the rooms."
