"The room was clean and comfortable. What was very unacceptable was that free parking for guests with vehicles had been advertised, but was not available when we checked in. We should have been told that parking was on a “first come, first served” basis; it is disingenuous to tell guests that something is available when it might not be. The other annoying thing was the small size of the rubbish bins in our room. That said, the staff members were very polite and helpful to us during our stay, and...

"The TRYP is in a very convenient location to the city center, the harbor, Te Papa museum, a larger grocery store, etc. Very convenient to use the airport bus to get there. Our room was quite spacious with a sitting area, new carpet, and had a small kitchenette, and the bathroom had a washer and dryer (which we didn't use as it was the beginning of our trip). Nice and quiet in the room. Not much in the way of breakfast but close by many cafe options. "

"The property is sold as alot more glamorous than it is, cheap small towels, minimal refreshment facilities with a $5 electric jug, dated bathroom. Good curtains and minimal noise."
