"This is an okay place to stay while visiting St Leonard’s and Hastings. It seems to be a family-run place and full breakfast is provided and is good.Quick walk to the train and to the beach and laundromat. Some improvements have been made to the property which are cosmetic and actually quite silly. There was an attempt to make this old hotel look opulent while neglecting things like upgraded beds and bedding, soundproofing rooms, replacing broken window seals and fresh paint on the exterior....

"Had a weekend stay here for a friends wedding. Location is perfect for the De La Warr pavilion which was a 2min walk away. Studio situated behind a row of shops, look for Premier Stores as satnav took us to the wrong end of the road. Excellent communication from Roberto regarding check in & keysafe code. Studio (4b) had everything I needed for a perfect weekend. Woke up to a powercut which i put down to the storm we’d had but this meant my phone wasn’t charged and worse I couldn’t start the day...

"Disappointing experience . When I informed reception at 6.15 pm that we had no water for the bath or shower I was told there wasn't any maintenance available . So neither I or my wife could have a shower that evening or the next morning ( today ) . On check out I reminded the manager of this problem , but no redress or discount was offered ; until I asked for a discount . "Beautifully quiet for a Saturday night And worth staying in for dinner"

"Room was okay . However the ensuite bathroom smelt mouldy and damp. We were put off using the shower. Also there was a glass shelf above the bathroom sink that made it difficult to lean over the sink to wash or clean your teeth with out banging your head."
