"Hotel is well-situated for visits to other places in addition to Oxford (Woodstock, Wallingford, riverside pubs, etc.). Hotel facilities are very good (fitness room, restaurant, etc.). Staff were efficient and friendly. All-round excellent hotel, but it was a bit early Nov 21) for 24/7 Christmas music!"

"A beautiful hotel with historic features. We stayed in the house which is quiet and we had a view of the fields. The swimming is very clean and the jacuzzi was relaxing we had the whole pool to ourselves, it has a small sauna and steam room which needs to be warmer. The Reception had a beautiful Christmas tree and the bar area is relaxing with a lovely sitting room. The staff work hard and make you feel welcome. The room was spacious with sash windows, no snacks provided like the other group...

"Can’t remember when I could say that a stay at a hotel was faultless. The entire hotel has been exquisitely designed to the smallest detail. The food excellent, staff could not be more helpful and the setting delightful "
