"Beautiful bedroom very large and spacious, as was the en-suite shower room.
The bed and bedding were excellent and I had a wonderful nights sleep. The water in the shower was hot and a good pressure. However the flush for the toilet was not working.
I would also recommend the owners supply bedside lights as there were none and the main light switch was over by the door. A kettle and teabags/coffee were provided in the room but no milk or water. I would also recommend a fresh homemade loaf be...

"Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi.
The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly.
The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. "

"After meeting our friends and spending an evening in Cambridge we returned to the crown and punchbowl for a night cap before bed and and found the bar was shut up and all staff had gone home. It was 10.45pm. So our evening ended quite abruptly. "not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes.
apparently the normal freezer had broken.
however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room
hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future.
