"The location and arquitecture"

"We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water (although there was one day when it was not as hot). From the hotel...

"Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend."

"The room and bathroom were spacious. First morning, we enjoyed a buffet style breakfast. Second morning, we ordered from their menu. The natural fruit juice and the crepe made with quinoa was delicious!"

"The Hotel is centrally located and very nice. What makes it excellent are the staff . They are amazing and friendly . They even made us a take away breakfast bag because our flight was early on leaving. We have not had this kind of dedicated service in the USA for years . We forgot what it was like to have worker that appreciate their jobs and their customers "

Durante mi estancia, la música de la mini discoteca o centro de eventos en las instalaciones se mantuvo a un volumen extremadamente alto desde aproximadamente las 10:00 p.m. hasta las 2:00 a.m., acompañada de personas gritando y haciendo ruido en los alrededores durante gran parte de la noche. "Our hotel was really nice, excellently located in downtown Arequipa. The Staff were super nice (they all spoke predominantly Spanish so we were lucky that our son could translate everything for us). Everyone was really helpful, kind and friendly. There were amazing food choices in Arequipa and we had 2 fantastic dinners there, at Kao and at ZigZag (Zigzag was amazingly good). The only drawback was that on the Friday night there was a live band at the NightClub 4-5 doors down the street…...
