We really enjoyed the typical dinner in a private room, and the morning breakfast. In-house onsen was a nice additional amenities.

Very good quality hotel much like a modern premier inn in the UK. Wouldn't be hesitate to stay here or in another comfort inn in Japan again.

Our stay in the temple was a really special way to end our trip in Japan. We really appreciated the serenity of the location and the grounds. The interaction with the monks was lovely. This type of stay is not for everyone please have you expectations set to get the most out of this experience. Check in closes at 5pm. The 'staff' (monks) were excellent, from start to finish, and really added to the experience. They were attentive, warm, and friendly. The room had a typical ryokan layout and was comfortable. The (vegan) food was excellently presented, plentiful, and tasted good in the main. My only gripe is the beanbag style pillows which were pretty solid and tough to sleep on. Great location only 5 mins from JR station.Typical Dormy hotel with great breakfasts, onsen and helpful staff. Rooms will always be on the small size, but very comfortable.

Excellent hotel, look forward to staying with them again in future. Due to an early flight I arrived in the morning, but nonetheless the staff were extremely helpful. The lobby was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful view, and I was able to get some work done while I waited for my room to be ready. Room was beautiful and clean, staff were super friendly and accommodating. Hot springs were so refreshing and the gardens were beautiful. Was so fun to stay in such a traditional place and enjoy the surroundings.
