"Room was INCREDIBLY loud. I would not recommend staying here if you intend on having a good nights sleep. The elevators are a disaster. The room service is slow after 7pm. Front desk was less than enthusiastic to help. The Carlyle, The Surrey or even The Four Seasons midtown are better picks."

"Great location, spacious room but incredibly small bathroom. We are not large people but you could barely turn around in that room. The towels had seen better days. They no longer have bars of soap or little bottles of shampoo, only wall mounted soap, shampoo and body wash. We did not havea car nor did we eat breakfast."

"Loved our stay! Clean, spacious room and great location - close to Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, with a subway station almost right next door. Very comfortable bed, room was cleaned every day, and staff were helpful (although some of them were not very friendly). Our room was at the back of the property so not so great views but we didn’t really mind it as it means it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in NYC!"

"Great Location. We had a King suite , lots of room and worth the money. A wealth of restaurants within walking distance . A shout out to the Amsterdam Market across the street. The food to go is excellent, Many mornings grabbed a fresh omelet for $10 and brought it up to the room , The hotel is very clean . The elevators are very slow as it is an older building but thats a minor detail"

"Location is perfect! Walking to Central Park, museums, churches and NYC library. Hotel staff were perfect, always greeting us when we returned and inquiring whether we needed anything. The only issue I had was on the first night I spilled some coffee on my sheets and while it dried it was obvious on the flat sheet. The sheets were never changed so I slept on those sheets each night. Expected more. One other thing was construction being done next door and jackhammers started at 830 a.m. and...
