"If you care about your car, do not book! The limited number of parking lot spaces are TINY! Constant battle to park your car every day, and you still risk damage. Asking your passengers to get out before parking, backing out before they get in, negotiating with other drivers if they can pull out so you can get in, barely getting in your car with your door hitting other cars. I damaged my front bumper when I stayed here trying to get into a space. There are other things missing from this...
"Excellent/Family friendly place to stay. The resort has expenses such as paying to rent the basketball or pickleball court and to even park (valet or self park). So be aware of that.
The only negative was that the hotel sits on the bay but there is no beach. You have to drive to Hotel Del Coronado for that. It's not a big deal (10 minute drive). There is a runway by the bay so you can run or walk it but it's not the same as having a beachside view.
