"We had a lovely time at Sekoen. Everyone there is very professional. Their smiling faces really light the the days of guests. The meals are very delicious and they are very thoughtful to include local delicacy in their dishes. I am especially impressed with the way they serve the breakfast and dinner. "Hotel is clean with beautiful landscape. Reception staff was patience despite the language barrier. They managed to help our friends change to a non smoking floor as the floor they were originally assigned smell of smoke from guests smoking from ground floor. The buffet dinner was great, with free flow of beer, soju and wine. Desserts was excellent. Onsen was great too though the bath house looks a bit run down. But it was clean. Lots of parking space for those who drive. The only downside is...

"There is no than one Aso Hotel. The pictures shown on Expedia are not from the same hotel. This hotel is very old."

"Very nice staff, free spa/public bath, and nice room. We tried the dinner buffet, but we would not recommend. Selection was limited and quality was less then expected based on price."

"The hot spring is good and 13 kinds of sauna are very nice. There are also mini zoo and strawberries farm therein. Good to stay there with kids."
