"This place has gone DOWNHILL. Everything is old. Paint chipping. Furniture chipping. Absolutely NOT worth the $$$ and will NEVER stay here again. We have stayed here before years ago. The rooms are ridiculously small. Very disappointed overall"

(And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

"During US Open week, they charged us over $400 for a $105 room. Beds have thin blankets, one only. Shower barely worked. No maid service. It is a place to stay near the airport. The staff was very friendly."

"Parking was limited Sheets had burn marks on them Bathroom had mold and part of the ceiling in the shower was peeling off dressers were damaged beds were to soft to sleep in. They charged me twice the amount of what I paid for an extra night"

": ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. While the amenities are fairly basic, the property is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very well run. "The promo on Expedia said was near the beach.....was at least 1 mile away. The "included" breakfast consisted of brown bananas, soft apples, white bread and OJ. The main door into out room wasn't sealed. Light came in the room at night, bugs crawled underneath the door, etc. EVERYTHING was dirty.....bathroom, sheets, curtains, floor, on and on...."

"Linens and coffee/coffee cups only every other day. Room was cold despite being June and A/C / heat not working. No luggage carts available. Lobby coffee supposed to be up by 7am but it wasn’t.. staff said “we’ll try to get it ready”. Restaurant server rude, food barely edible and expensive."

"I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. I reserved a non-smoking room, but when I entered, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and other odors that made it unacceptable. The room did not appear to have been maintained as advertised. The common areas also felt uncomfortable. There were individuals loitering in the hallways and stairwells, and the hallways smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The overall environment did not feel clean or family-friendly. "We normally stay at another nearby hotel, but the Hyatt offered a competitive price and we were very pleased with the hotel, staff and our room. In the future, I will be booking the Hyatt should room pricing remain competitive"
