"During US Open week, they charged us over $400 for a $105 room. Beds have thin blankets, one only. Shower barely worked. No maid service. It is a place to stay near the airport. The staff was very friendly."

"Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

"There was only one clerk at the check in desk to handle a line of customers. The clerk had a very bad attitude towards the customers. The check in process was very confusing and tedious ( I had already prepaid). There was no information on the Hotels amenities. The room did ot even have a house phone, to be able to call the front desk for help. The staff wasnt even helpful when checking out."

": ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. While the amenities are fairly basic, the property is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very well run. "The promo on Expedia said was near the beach.....was at least 1 mile away. The "included" breakfast consisted of brown bananas, soft apples, white bread and OJ. The main door into out room wasn't sealed. Light came in the room at night, bugs crawled underneath the door, etc. EVERYTHING was dirty.....bathroom, sheets, curtains, floor, on and on...."

"Room could have cleaner, but acceptable. Sorry, but the mattress was very uncomfortable. I had to ask to have my room made up after day 2, but then it was fine. Nice employees. Loved the Costa coffee!"

"Linens and coffee/coffee cups only every other day. Room was cold despite being June and A/C / heat not working. No luggage carts available. Lobby coffee supposed to be up by 7am but it wasn’t.. staff said “we’ll try to get it ready”. Restaurant server rude, food barely edible and expensive."

"I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. I reserved a non-smoking room, but when I entered, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and other odors that made it unacceptable. The room did not appear to have been maintained as advertised. The common areas also felt uncomfortable. There were individuals loitering in the hallways and stairwells, and the hallways smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The overall environment did not feel clean or family-friendly. I...
