"I want to be clear: this place is the worst, except for the hot tub. They didn't have room slippers, their internet was down, and the front desk refused to do anything about it. Rooms are advertised as rooms and as non-smoking rooms; in reality, the entire property is a no-smoking zone. No water bottles in the room, no extra water bottles anywhere in the hotel, apparently. Thoroughly unejoyable except for the tub which was great so if you have money do it"

The staff is friendly, and the morning breakfast is an added bonus. The lady who helps at the breakfast is extremely helpful and friendly, and she goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. "This is hands down the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could I have switched hotels, I would have. Took over 45 minutes to check in. They overbooked the hotel, the rooms paid for are not available…. Please do yourself a favour and stay very far away from this hotel. Black mold in the rooms and bathrooms. "I stay here every time I'm in Batavia. Wish the horses were always racing though. Walking distance to great restaurant, Alex's. Great restaurant right in the casino. Bartenders were very friendly in casino and never waited for a drink. Continental breakfast is wonderful. Have your pick of just about anything. Maids were super friendly also. Great place."
