"Very clean room, nice eateries across the road and nearby. City centre area but also quite vicinity. Within walking distance to Fish monger market and CBD. Sky Tower is 5 mins on foot away with AirPort Express bus right there. Front desk staff is extremely helpful, especially it is our first time to Auckland, they helped us to find local tours and gave us great recommendations. "

"Overall, a great place to stay and very centrally located to most of the shopping around town. Very clean and quiet. Parking is literally next to the building, but costs $30 NZD/day. Breakfast, IMO, was WAY overpriced, at $42 NZD for the buffet, it's totally not worth it. I ate once, had some French toast, eggs, sausage, OJ and regretted my decision. Their is a Starbuck, Dunkin, and a Denny's around the corner. Better options, much cheaper!"

"Retro vibe of the Ohtel. It is like a home away from home. Just a heads up if you are a light sleeper, dont book a room on the street side of the hotel. Music from viaduct is very loud."

"The stay was absolutely fantastic! Bonus: Having laundry so accessible in the room was a life saver. When I asked for a harbour view- that is what I received. Absolutely breath taking view every morning. Other than an older gym than I imagined ….it still had views that were outstanding which made up for it. Thank you to all of the beautiful amazing staff!
