"Our room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. The drawers were unusable due to visible dust and hairs, and we had to clean the tables and nightstands ourselves. The bathroom was missing several towels, had no foot mat, and offered no body lotion or basic body care items, which was disappointing given the hotel’s price point. Throughout our stay, there was a persistent smell of cooking oil and food that permeated both the lobby and our room. The hotel attempts to mask this with a strong scent...

"The room we had was clean. The kitchen area had a refrigerator, dishwasher, a 2 burner stove and a microwave. Our room overlooked the downtown area and we were fortunate enough to have a view of the lake from the 28th floor. With the view we had, we were able to see the fireworks from the Navy Pier. We could not see the pier though. The complimentary breakfast, varied slightly daily but all in all it was very good. It is a charming hotel. The hotel looks like the building was a 1930/40 office...

"Our stay at the Londonhouse was excellent. The location is superb right by the riverwalk and across from the Hop On Hop Off bus and the boat rides. The staff was great and very helpful. A special shout out to Juan Carlos at the restaurant and Luke at the Rooftop, where the view is amazing."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, great location. Quick check-in, helpful staff. Very dark lobby and hallways. Elevator floors were grungy. Overall, really needs a refresh with updated decor, lighting."

"Staff was great. Hats off to Rachel for all her help. BUT... Upon arrival, our shower was not working correctly. Handle would not turn to hot water. (Broken Valve) Informed staff the next morning, as the water was semi warm, but not hot. The next day, told that the boiler had failed (the night before) and there would be no hot water until 4 pm. That came and went. Still no hot water next day. Again staff reported boiler fixed but did not report the shower valve issue. Work began on that...
