"I wasnt a fan of the overuse of air freshner in the room. It was overpowering. Generally, the room was looking a bit tired. The staff were very nice and worked hard to make the stay pleasant. Dinner was good."

"Our stay at the vine was lovely, Pros convenient right in the centre, Loverly friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, tea coffee facilities. Cons, steep narrow stairs upto the top floor, really squeaky floor boards in the room kept waking others up in the room when getting up to use the bathroom in the night. Second time I’ve stayed and would definitely visit again. "

Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer. "I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave."
