Disappointing for us was that there was no shuttle bus available up to the main hotel where we were dining. Staff were very friendly"

"This hotel is amazing! We booked our stay there based on the pictures online. We had no idea how beautiful the place would be. We stayed in a converted Georgian townhouse. To get to our room, we walked through the center garden to a different building. It was exquisite and made you feel the history of the buildings. The location was perfect. "I've stayed in quite a few Premier Inns and Travelodges this year, and a few independent hotels, but my room at Tŷ Magor beat all of them. My room was comfortable and fresh and spotlessly clean (the glass and polished metal gleaming!). The bed was comfortable (there was a sofa bed too), the pillows generous.
