Two out of five nights the housekeepers never cleaned our room or brought us fresh towels. When we called the front desk they were uninterested and of no help at all. The property is getting dated and the management and service for the price has left the building."

"This hotel is next to super 8. The hotel is a better version of the motel. They give you a voucher to have a breakfast at Denny’s which is nice. There is no breakfast in the hotel except coffee and packs of dried apples and dry oatmeal packs. Breakfast at Denny’s was great but small. The room was ok. The sink was in the room and the water was not going down the drain fast. There are lots of places to have dinner on the area and a super cool grocery store within the walking distance. The front...

"This is a great location for anyone wanting to be near the Hospital District, close to downtown and close to amenities on the South Hill. There is plenty of parking, the room was clean and well laid out. The complimentary breakfast was very good, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs and fried potatoes, toast, muffins, cold cereal, water, coffee, tea, and assorted juices."

"The hotel situated in the perfect area of town. It is a throwback to very very old hotel but still looks perfectly preserved in feels very comfortable. Has a great Bar and Restaurant in the basement and several restaurants that are affiliates with. The staff are all friendly and helpful. And the facility seemed extremely clean. There's an elevator to go to all the floors but in the center of the hotel there's an open type of atrium with a balcony around each floor and ornate stairways winding...

"Not having daily room cleaning and having to ask for clean towels. Never have stayed at a facility where rooms are cleaned every third day....... Also was issued a parking ticket that was only good for two days even though our stay was for four days. Even the desk clerk questioned why we were not given a ticket to cover our stay when we checked in. The desk clerk handled it and we were given another ticket to cover the rest of our stay."

"Tv didn’t work and both people at front desk didn’t seem to worried about it as well as everyone I spoke to about canceling the next day said it would not be a problem will not stay here again and it’s too bad because usually it’s a great place but this was ridiculous"

"Room not ready at check in time. Then wrong room given. Staff at check in not approachable and charged out parking incorrectly. I did go back the next day and a new staff member was very helpful and reversed the charges. Hotel is overall beautiful. We prefer the Davenport Grand for future."
