"We had a fabulous stay at La Riqueza. The hotel is clean and extremely well run - no request was too much for the brilliant staff. It is also very well located between Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, with great views across the valley in which Dharamshala sits. Highly recommended !"

"Overall the place was good and the location was excellant. It started off bad when they tried to downgrade us to a smaller room than we booked. There were three adults and they wanted to put us in a room with a single bed! Also there is no A/C and you can’t keep the doors and windows open or the monkeys will get in. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the restaurant on the 1st floor was excellant so that was not an issue. The beds were Ok but were short and not great for tall people....

"Stay was excellent but restaurant services was not good.on 21.5.26 evening dessert gulabjamun khoya tested burnt and icecream was sticky. On 22/23.5.26 morning breakfast had to wait half an hour for tea otherwise service was good"

"Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...

"I was physically attacked by the manager of this hotel. He became very aggressive when I offered to pay with an international card but he only accepts cash or UPI. When I wanted to get cash for him, he refrained me from taking by bags in the car. When I tried to leave, he grabbed me at the throat and scratched my arm. When I left one bag behind to get cash, he locked up the driver and took his keys and phone. Sunny, the manager, is a dangerous man and I warn you to stay away from the hotel....

"Good location in McLeod. Spacious room, hot water worked well & although the room was very cold at night, they provided a heater for approx. £3 per night. Good value for money overall! "
