"Bed was comfortable and room size was good. Breakfast lacked substance, but was varied slightly each day. Portion sizes were small. The 'buffet' was split between two rooms. There is not enough seating at breakfast. I had to wait for people to finish on one occasion.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hostal has a 'silence after 9pm' policy. "Beautiful property! Very conveniently located right in the Old City. Very walkable, safe, lots of options for dining & shopping. Stayed with family & loved out time Cuenca is beautiful and local gem is a must! Very nice family owns it and they do everything to assure you have the best time there. Breakfast is great in am. Freshly prepared when you arrive to the breakfast table each day. I can’t say enough good things. This property is a true treasure! "
