"Beautifully restored 1924 YMCA building. Wonderful bar staff. Excellent public transportation nearby. Take the 992 bus from the airport. It drops you off across the street from the hotel. Bus fare for two was $3.75. Sure beats exorbitant Lyft prices!"

"5th year in a row my 9 year old daughter and I stay 1-2 nights for our annual Daddy-Daughter Christmas date. Great hotel, beautiful with amazing views of Seaport Village, the Coronado Bridge and the sunset. Great snack and dining options onsite, easy valet parking, or very walkable from the train station which we've done a few times. Conveniently located near gaslamp for tons of dining options and fun. Will be back next year for our 6th annual trip."

"We parked valet and it was easy and convenient to get our vehicle when needed. Rooms were clean. Front desk staff was super friendly. Downside for me there was no place in the hotel where I could get replacement toiletries like other hotels might have, had to walk down to convenience store at night for pain medication, however, this was not too inconvenient and I enjoyed the cool night walk. "The hotel is really beautiful! Originally built as a bank in 1928, the lobby is stunning and the downstairs has the vaults and artifacts that are very interesting. The rooms have been updated and are clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and gave us an upgrade without our asking. I would stay here again and recommend it for events in DT SD."
