"Stayed in this villa for a couple of nights. It’s a great option if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center. The location is lovely, with birds chirping in the background. The rooms were small, but they had all the necessary amenities for travelers. I had dinner and breakfast once each day. While the food was sufficient, I think it would be better to have more options given the 4-star rating of the property. The staff members were helpful and friendly."

"The location of Villa del Sole was ideal for exploring Siena; within easy walking distance, it was possible to find restaurants of all sorts and visit the key tourist sites. The staff was friendly and welcoming; the property has a lovely terrace to enjoy a quiet afternoon after a day of adventure. "

"Nice staff, plentiful breakfast, clean room. However we stayed in March and the room was unbearably hot. It was like sleeping in a furnace. We did not sleep the two nights we stayed. We were told by reception the heat was automatic and there was nothing they could do. Other guests were complaining of the same thing. For the price we paid to stay here this was pretty unacceptable. The bathroom also had a radiator blasting heat at all times that could not be controlled. "

"The room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location right in the middle of town. The balcony looked out over the town and landscape. It could not have been prettier. Also the staff was very friendly."

"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided...

"Loved the hotel, staff was wonderful. Alittle off the main path but the tram is right outside. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Loved the galleries with the water still and sparkling. "

"This was not a four-star property. The room was extremely dirty. I found dust and other people’s hair all over the room. The walls were in terrible condition with marks and scuffs and damage. Overall, I was very disappointed."

"Check in was super quick and easy, staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel in general is modern and stylish with good character. Our room was nice, we paid more to have a bigger room but actually it was too big, almost echoing. Walls were plain, needed some more furniture to fill the space. Our room was nice and warm when we turned the heating on. However our bathroom was always very cold. Overall, was a very pleasant stay. "

"What a beautiful hotel!! Spacious room, updated nice bathroom, and gorgeous views and property. Very friendly staff, too. Breakfast is awesome and they had plenty GF options too. They also have a shuttle to take you up and down the hill to the main part of town, which was very helpful and meant we didn’t have to pay for taxis hardly at all. Overall an amazing place! "
