"For the most part, we enjoyed our stay, but it came with some frustrations, especially given the very high cost of everything, including the additional 25% tax added before tip. The resort itself was clean, but extremely crowded. It was often difficult to find seating in the pool area, which took away from the overall experience. We also noticed that many staff members seemed unhappy. There was frequent bickering behind the bars, and limited engagement with guests. That said, the teams at Pizza...

"Rides were closed half the time pools close at 7pm and there was only 1 jacuzzi on the property which also closed at 7pm. We paid for an ocean view but we had a view of the property. Everything was so overpriced, food, drinks, roundup airport to resort. Food was mediocre nothing to brag about and like I said overpriced. Toilet kept flushing by itself very noticeable during night cause we’re trying to sleep."

"The rooms were very spacious. The kitchen area was very functional and sufficiently stocked with dishes and cooking equipment for us to have both breakfast and/or lunch. I appreciated being able to choose to eat in or savour one of the many restaurants. The pool was large and never felt crowded. When I come back I will want to stay at the reef."

"This hotel is overpriced and under delivers. One hot tub on the 400 acre property is totally unacceptable. It was full of children using it like a pool. It's not even high season and every time we went to the beach we had to hunt for lounge chairs. Sometimes it took over 20 minutes to find available chairs. I knew the restaurants were going to be expensive but they were over the top in cost. Definitely a vacation for kids with wealthy parents not a girls trip vibe."

"The images of The Cove make it look like a modern hotel, but don't be fooled, that's simply the reception area. The actual Cove accommodation is very similar to other parts of the hotel and in my opinion, isn't much of an upgrade and certainly not worth the price difference. Rooms are relatively old fashioned and could really do with an upgrade. Most disappointing was the balcony furniture which is super cheap, low quality and definitely not something you would want to sit on for anything other...

"Everything was great! Please keep in mind there might be a few things closed after cruise people leaves. They close the pools bars, some restaurants. But the hotel was amazing, the food was great and everything was really clean."

"The natural setting is beautiful. But for >> 1000/night, this experience is WAY below expectations. The staff is not helpful nor present. Certain places were not clean. The wireless does not work. When we asked for help with the thermostat because it was set to 65 degrees, they said the only option is to shut it off and have no AC. You pay 28 dollars for a salad of just leaves and 4 tomatoes or 17 dollars for tortilla chips and salsa. The worst part is the hours. The pool may open at 8 am but...
