The Angus Hotel & Spa by Compass Hospitality

The Angus Hotel & Spa by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good
"A nice room, nice and quiet, although walls are thin, so can hear talking in the next room. Nice breakfast. The shower was awful, could never keep it at a reasonable temperature. The lounge could have done with some new furniture and not much choice or drinks at the bar. Overall a 7/10 stay. A nice location and did the job for 2 nights as a nice base for travelling"

"Both the hotel and the staff were excellent, I particularly liked Ravi the hotel manager. My only gripe was the lack of thought for us vegans.. the menu made it feel like veganism was an afterthought and the very generous free pantry didn’t have any to offer us."

"Parking was tricky. There is a car park but it was full. Therefore I angled my car in the middle of the car park, then got up really early to move it again. The staff are lovely. The room was charming. Great value for money. Location is pretty. Great as a pit stop for driving from Inverness to Edinburgh."
