"Hotel staff were lovely and helpful, we had a lovely meal in the river room which was turkey and ham so delicious. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Our room was excellent a standard twin with two big double beds, the room was super clean. The fridge was great to keep drinks cool. The staff work so hard and are a credit to the hotel. "Well communicated contactless check in, beautiful property and rooms, cute little town, and the breakfast was good! Coffee was great, Charlie makes a great flat white! Parking can be a little bit of a nuisance, and like many historical properties no elevator so if you need help with your luggage plan ahead as the property is not always staffed. Lovely. Also Forrest Park is not to far down the road if you would like a lovely walk around the lake. the Parson's Nose is quite good as a dinner option...

"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.
