"I would definitely recommend and stay again!"

"Our first room had a heat problem and the AC didn’t work, so we had to sleep with a noisy fan all night which meant hot air being pushed around and not much sleep due to the noise. Second night we swapped rooms as the lovely staff helped us by allowing us to move rooms to somewhere with working AC. The problem with that room was the tap being broken and wobbly/not secured properly. The general hotel was lovely although only 1 working lift which made going up and down difficult from the high floors as well as the front automatic sliding doors being stuck in slow. They also had a test fire alarm mid week without telling any of us so we rushed downstairs for no reason (maybe an oversight as they didn’t tell us on check in) - so I’d say although we usually love CitM hotels this one was in need of some TLC & some refurbishment. "

"Arrived on a late night flight from Belfast. Easy check in. Perfect room, comfortable. Conveniently located within walking distance to all points of interest. "

"Ok I really did like the hotel except for one thing and honestly it’s a big thing for me. The rooms are dark they have that ambient light of desk lamps and little low power bulbs. I hate it I cannot put my make up on yes there’s a mirror at the sink with a light but when the rest of the room is dark big deal it’s just not enough, like imagine going on a night out and having that. If you lose something you’re like where is it I will need to get my phone torch out. Can you not get a big light for the room so I can see very clearly all my belongings. I know some hotels like like but it’s annoying. I need to see please please stick a big light in there and it would be perfect. You can switch off a light what can you do if there is no light. It’s like a cave. "

"I booked this hotel because of its pool, so I could swim whilst away from home. When I checked in I was informed the pool was closed. No advanced warning, no apology, no offer to use another hotel's pool. Room was okay, very basic, sachets of cheap instant coffee and a couple of teabags, no snacks or even water. Probably not the hotel's fault but the whole place was evacuated because of a fire alarm and we had to stand on the corner of a freezing cold windy street whilst the fire engines came and went one evening. Again, no apology. I came back from my conference exhausted, made my way to my hotel room to find the key didn't work, had to go back to the lobby and join an extensively long queue to have my key reactivated. Again, no apology, just a barrage of questions from a young woman who clearly thought I looked like some sort of criminal trying to break into my own hotel room, in my smart conference wear, and quizzed me relentlessly before she sneered at me and reactivated it without apology. If the staff learned to apologise for the errors that impact guests' stays, they'd land a lot easier. But this was a catalogue of errors dealt with by utterly miserable staff who haven't learned the word 'sorry' No idea what the breakfast was like as apparently it wasn't included."
