The best is at Hotel Vilamari!

Hotel Vilamari is incredible. I arranged my visit in advance, however, my family was in an airbnb that was terrible and a crisis. I told them to come over to check for possible rooms here. Vilamari was great.They received 2 adjoining rooms immediately. Everyone was kind, patient and helpful. I'd stay here again. I rate A++++!

We had 3 rooms for 6 ppl. A/c didn’t work well in 2 of our rooms. My parents were moved to a different room and it worked much better. Location is great. Close to hop on/off tour busses. Around the corner from the catalunya national art museum, but also walkable to La Rambla (few miles). Overall good stay at this hotel.

I felt that it was very expensive for what we got. The shower was not clean and the rooms were very small. I also didn’t like the location. The images online are very different from the actual hotel. I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking to be in a more centralized location. Way overpriced.

We are usually budget travelers but this was an excellent and relatively affordable choice for our last nights in Barcelona. It is super convenient for Aeroport shuttle bus dropoff; the pickup to go to airport was further away, but still an easy 5-10 minute walk. (There is anlso parking anvailable under the hotel, but I don’t know the particulars.) Also an easy walk to Placa d’Espanya metro stop, though finding the entrances was an adventure. Super helpful and friendly staff. Bathroom was throughly updated and had courtesy toothbrush and razor. All the room amenities you would expect, including a long desk. Outlet on only one side of bed, though. Also, closet was odd but functional: shallow and long, so that clothes hung flat rather than perpendicular. And why why why do hotels seem to think we don’t need towel/clothes hooks in the bathroom? At least there was one by the shower.

Pro: - Staff were very friendly. Cleanliness was good. Convenient location. Nice public areas. Con: - Aircon was not working in my room. Rang for assistance, person came and left without explanation. Eventually went to reception desk and only then explained there was nothing they could do about it, and moved me to another room - Aircon in gym also was not working. I noticed staff and they were able to semi-fix it. Gym is very small. Max free weight is 10kg - Gym cross-trainer was not working correctly. Staff tried to fix but were unsure. - First (of 2 elevators) did not go to the 3rd floor. Staff told me later I should take the 2nd elevator if i want to stop at that floor. Other guest explained the button works if you press it really hard.
