"Very clean, and for the most part a good, quiet place to stay. The stairs need to be cleaned though. Also, one night the people next door were clearly smoking marijuana on the balcony and the smoke made its way into our room. It did not last long, thankfully. Otherwise I thought the hotel was great and I would for sure stay again with my family."

"Had a wonderful stay. My flight was cancelled, so I had to take a later flight that had me arriving at the house around 1130pm. I was still graciously welcomed and introduced to all the amenities and how things worked. The home is full of beautiful antiques that are very well taken care of. There's a swing, hammock, and lots of outdoor seating in the back. The owners are a very kind couple that make you feel welcome. I highly recommend it. Its one of those rare gems, the house is truly special. I look forward to returning."

"I am grateful that someone saved this beautiful home and set it up to be a bed and breakfast. The place is charming. However, it’s not a true Bed and Breakfast as advertised on its official website. There’s no one to greet you, no warm greetings from a host or common gathering place for breakfast with others. Rather, you are given a code to enter the place and your room — and then you’re on your own. Some folks may prefer this — but we were expecting something more traditional. The place has nice amenities. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the room was clean. One of the window shades and the soap dispenser didn’t work, however. (We used the shower gel in the shower.) We didn’t feel like calling someone off-site to remedy the situation (It’s not like calling the front desk for easy solutions.). There is a kitchen where you can get coffee, tea. Cereal, and snacks 24/7. As mentioned, however, there is no breakfast in the mansion. You are given a coupon to cross a major street to buy a food item and beverage. I will say that The Breakfast Club breakfast was very very good. So it’s a beautiful space with a great food place across the street — but it’s not a B&B. Again, I understand the attraction of the no contact hotel rooms to some. We were just expecting something like a more traditional B&B."
