"The room was spotless and a lot of thought in the details. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were the only guests for dinner but didn't feel awkward as the staff including the chef were chatting with us. The place was full of character whilst giving attention to comfort. "Staff were very attentive, polite and explained what needed to know, checked us in very quickly and show to our room. Room was clean and stocked with pkenty of tea, coffee etc. Bed was very comfortable and nice fresh bedding and towels, toiletries were supplied. Food in the restaurant was very nice and a good price and generous portions. "
