"We chose this hotel for a bit of self-indulgence, and the weekend felt like we'd had a full restful weekend. It's quiet, and there's everything you need right there. The food is great; as a vegetarian, I appreciated the tasty tagine, and my carnivore partner had plenty to choose from. The gym is well-equipped, and the pool is lovely. We'll be back soon to try a spa treatment as well. Also, the staff were amazing."

"I left a hand-written note requesting more sugar for the room as it had not been replaced the day before. What I received were half a dozen shrivelled, stained packets which were unusable and placed in the basket so I did not notice them until I came to make a coffee the next morning. This felt like a deliberately nasty act because I had left a note. I reported it to a chap on reception and handed him the packets but he only asked me if I wanted them replaced. I told him not to bother, I just wanted to report this. I wouldn't say he was that helpful or particularly apologetic."
