"Very nice and comfortable hotel right in the heart of old Basel. The staff was awsome, super friendly, fluent in english. Breakfast was perfect, lots of options. Our junior suite was great. The bed, pillows and comforter were super confi. Overall a great stay worthy of a return trip in the future."

"We had a very nice sleep at the hotel, it was central enough for us to walk around the old town. We did not have a good experience with some of the restaurant staff, one morning, completely empty restaurant we were ignored by a waitress as she cleared a table. Even when I asked for two cappuccino and two croissants, she reply yes and continued to clean the table. Odd "

"The is located close to transportation and shopping. It’s clean and has the modern conveniences for travelers. The breakfast was excellent but the staff gave us incorrect information about the Sunday bruch and breakfast arrangements which led to us not having breakfast as usual as we intended to have the bruch as it was timed closer to our departure for a long train trip. Generally the stay was great!"

"La demoiselle à l’accueil était d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous sommes arrivés à l’avance, et elle nous a aisément accommoder. "My family (spouse and two young adult daughters) had a wonderful two night stay in a family room (a suite of two bedrooms and one bathroom--though the bathroom was accessible only through one of the bedrooms). The rooms were all white and very peaceful. The bar was lovely with a great range of meal options, including affordable sandwiches). Though only caveat was a lack of air conditioning, though each bedroom had a large fan and large operable windows. "
