"Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. "I mean, what can I say? Absolutely everything was wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful (I’ve actually made mental notes on the beer garden to replicate part of it at home. It was very busy and very vibrant BUT the lady behind the bar took the time to explain to me ALL SIX of the available Timothy Taylor ales in draft. The room was lovely. The bathroom was great. I slept great. A perfect room in a perfect pub and WE WILL BE BACK. "

The instructions for the self service access are really clear and whilst we did have an issue with the code for the lockbox with the key room, we called and the concierge on the phone helped us instantly. The apartment itself was superb. We stayed in the 2 bedroom one called The Lodge. Both bedrooms were very large, with excellent ensuite bathrooms.
